It all started with this boy...

The sweet boy pictured above is Toby. He was plagued with urinary issues very early in life, even to the point where he had to have surgery. Because of this, we hated leaving him with anyone who might not be able to gauge if he was in pain or who was unable to respond to get him to the vet, because it could escalate quickly. He eventually developed diabetes, which made everything more complicated. This company grew out of the anguish and frustration of being unable to find someone who could care for Toby when we traveled.

Tiny and Taz

My cat Tiny is difficult (pretty much a gangsta) and can be aggressive with some people. Tailored Pet Sitting has sat for us several times, and the last time, the sitter arrived early and Tiny actually asked her to pick him up! All of the sitters at Tailored Pet Sitting that we have had in our home have been great—super attention to detail and great communication, and you can tell that they love animals.

Tater and Russ

Tater and Russ are two very active Schnauzer mixes. They require a lot of attention and outdoor activity. Tailored Pet sitters have always been on time and have communicated with us consistently. Tater and Russ tend to try to dig out of the backyard, so a sitter can’t just let them out in the yard for a long time without checking on them. We are never worried to leave our boys and home in Tailored Pet Sitter’s care.

Magnus and Fred

We needed a last minute pet sitting for our two cats,
Fred and Magnus. Tailored Pet Sitting was able to take care of us. At the last minute, our cat Magnus had to go to the vet, so it was just Fred. Fred usually hides the whole time when we have pet sitters, but Fred came out this time! The sitter sent daily photos and text updates, and took excellent care of our home and followed all of our instructions, even caring for the outdoor cat that comes in sometimes for water and food!

Note—we actually got our cat Magnus from one of the sitters. She found him in downtown Houston, following a man who was making a video of him while he was running after the man, meowing and begging for attention and food. She rescued him and he is now a part of our family and a joy every day.
